Mayor Seeman reported that she received two letters from Cathy Baroque and Carol Lewis who are the monitors and managers of the Bowman House. thanking the Parks & Recreation employees for all the help they provided for their pottery show and sale at the Bowman House; Missy Adams, John Bixby, Jamie Clear, Ron Crawford, Brian Harrington, Sam Lilly, Tony White and Terry White.  These Town employees helped them set up and carry things to and from their cars, it was service above and beyond.



Mayor Seeman also reported that she had the honor of going to Flint Hill Elementary School for their program called "Let Freedom Ring." She thought it was kind of nice that the kids are in school for Veterans Day so they can have these programs, it helps them understand what Veteran's Day is really all about.  



Mayor Seeman also reported that she has some nice pictures that she received from Mr. Don Chumley of the BZA, that he took during the Wildwood Park dedication.



Mayor Seeman announced that the Town of Vienna has received a Silver Certification Award for successfully implementing environmental policies and taking practical actions to reduce carbon emissions from the Virginia Municipal League Green Government Challenge. The award was prsented to the Town during the VML Conference, Councilmember Sienicki, Councilmember DiRocco and Councilmember Kelleher were there to accept the award.
